The full programme of events for the 2011 British Ceramics Biennial, due to be held in Stoke-on-Trent from 30th September to 13th November, has been unveiled.

First staged in 2009, the six-week festival encompasses the work of artists, designers, studio potters and the ceramics industry as a whole.
One of this year’s highlights will be a ‘great wall’ of china, a largescale installation highlighting the diversity, innovation and creativity of the UK ceramics industry.
There will also be exhibitions of work by international artists such as Tony Cragg and Betty Woodman.

The 2011 British Ceramics Biennial will run from 30th September to 13th November at various venues in Stoke-on-Trent, in Staffordshire. All events are free, but groups are invited to call in advance to arrange special tours.
